Program Schedule

  1. Opening performance by the band Echospire, featuring Anirban Samanta on bass and vocals, Mithun Baran Dey on guitar and vocals, Kunal Babbar on guitar and vocals, and Antarip Karak on percussion. A raw, powerful performance that will leave you breathless. Feel the energy. Live the moment!
  2. Wow Kids Miheera Mogalipuri and Joshith Mogalipuri present a fusion dance on the national song “Vande Mataram,” paying tribute to Mother India through synchronized steps, patriotic expressions, and graceful formations symbolizing India’s rich heritage, unity, and pride.
  3. Debapriya Chatterjee presents a patriotic dance performance that evokes the spirit of unity and paints a picture of our nation’s diverse yet harmonious fabric.
  4. Introduction of the INCA executive and reading of a celebratory message from Shri Kapidhwaja Pratap Singh, Acting Consul General of India in Toronto, by INCA President Sathyasai Murty. Accompanied on stage by Vice-President Monica Rai Dua, Secretary Kishor Deotale, Treasurer Amit Hunjan, Past-President Valarmathy Kaliaperumal, and Members at Large Geeta Batra, Mayuri Ranadive, Gurpreet Singh, and Devi Chakrabarti.
  5. Please rise for the Canadian national anthem, sung by the Vedanta Ashram Society Youth Group: Amara Dua, Adhrit Maharaj, Mihika Sanyal, Shreehith Pandey, Vibhav Veluri, Anvika Chelikani, Abhiram Chelikani, Parthiv Prithu Chowdhury, Pryansh Gupta, Srihan Jonnalagadda, R. Chidvilas, R. Chidakash, Lakshiv Ashwajith, Aaranyak Middya, and Yash Rai.
  6. Indian flag unfurling with guest Anil Rana, a sworn police officer with the Halifax Regional Police who made history in 2019 as the first Indian national to serve as a police officer in Atlantic Canada. Honored as the Most Inspiring Immigrant in Atlantic Canada in 2023.
  7. Please remain standing for the Indian national anthem, sung by Shirish Deshpande, Kruthika Aitha, Hasini Aitha, Saisri Aadhya, and Vedhaansika Suresh, followed by “Vande Mataram,” and a solo performance by Vedhaansika Suresh of the Telugu patriotic song “Bharata Maata Ku Vandanam.”
  8. Pushpanjali, a traditional Bharatanatyam welcome dance rooted in devotion and spiritual celebration. Presented by disciples of Nithya Babou from Nruthiya Saagaram: Poojashri Suresh Anitha, Ameya Singh, Yoshita Santoshini Pattisapu, Aaradhya Shembelle, Anjika Sinha, Arshitha Karthik, Aakanksha Shembelle, and Darshini Dayawanthi Manikandan.
  9. Aaradhya Malka, twelve years old, will perform “Vande Mataram” on the violin.
  10. Shreehith Panday presents a motivational Hindi poem titled “Hum Bharat Wale Hain.”
  11. Students from the Maheswari Dance Academy perform a dance act on the Bengali patriotic anthem “Agun Jalo,” choreographed by Debapriya Chatterjee, featuring Shubhangi Sikdar, Sindhuja Halder, Arshi Ghosh, Samriddha Paul, Ridhima Mitra, Raine Das, and Silvia Tosh.
  12. Sriservaani Tandepalli sings “Vaishnava Janatho,” highlighting compassion, humility, and the virtues of a selfless individual.
  13. Ketaki Patankar, Tanvi Deshpande, Gargi Patankar, and Rhea Mantri present a Bharatanatyam dance on “Vande Mataram,” evoking the spirit of patriotism and devotion.

Program Schedule – Part 2

  1. Geeta Batra and Ruchi Gupta sing “Sandese Aate Hain” from the movie Border, one of Bollywood’s most iconic patriotic songs, paying a heartfelt tribute to the courage and sacrifice of the Indian Armed Forces. Accompanied on stage by musicians Sourav Chakraborty, Hintendra Rathod, and Amit Hunjan.
  2. Gurkirat Singh presents an exciting Bhangra performance infused with Republic Day vibes to entertain the audience.
  3. Devi Chakrabarti and Rusha Ghosh, along with Bengalis in Halifax, perform a dance to “Ami Banglay Gaan Gaayi” and “Ae Watan Mere Aabad Rahe Tu,” celebrating the vibrant traditions of Bengal and the unity in diversity that defines India.
  4. Garvit Singh Soni performs “Vande Mataram” on the guitar.
  5. Sharodia Kidsapella, comprised of Shreyasi Paul, Aaranyak Middya, Mehul Dutta, Parthiv Chowdhury, Mihika Sanyal, and Srijon Paul, dance to “Dhono Dhanya Pushpa Bhora,” followed by a solo vocal performance by Aaranyak Middya singing “Uttogo Bharoto Lakshmi.”
  6. Desi Blaze Kids — Roshni Kumari, Elina Srivastav, Eash Srivastav, Amulya Pininti, and Ananya Pininti — perform a patriotic dance. Choreography by Debapriya Chatterjee.
  7. Shanay Soni performs “Teri Mitti” on the keyboard.
  8. Maheswari Dance Academy, featuring Rajanna Jana, Anusrita Chakraborty, Sancia Tosh, and Audriana Moshfik, performs a dance to “Chol Chol” by national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam — a powerful patriotic anthem symbolizing youth and victory. Choreographed by Debapriya Chatterjee.
  9. Innovative Giddha and Bhangra fusion dance performed by Agam Kaur, Ambar Kaur, Param Singh, Saheb Kaur, Rehmat Kaur, Rasleen Kaur, and Ranjit Singh.
  10. Anika Chhabra presents “Desh Rangila,” a colorful performance portraying the diverse states of India and their unity as one nation.
  11. SICAM Halifax — Aroha Pillai, Aadhvik Sunish Kumar, Nia Rose Suman, Caitlyn Maria Jacob, Ethan Fernandez, Neeve Kiran, Durga Nair, Anirudh Nedumparambil, Rithika Divya Arun, Krithika Arun, Caroline Clover, Irene Clover, and Ciya Treasa Anugrahu — present a Malayalam cinematic dance performance showcasing masterpiece songs.
  12. Chilanka Classical Dance Studio presents a semi-classical Bharatanatyam performance set to the Sanskrit composition “Samarasa Bhavana.” Performed by Ananya, Bhadra, Lasya, Maheeka, and Malavika, celebrating India’s unity in diversity, rich cultural heritage, and timeless values.
  13. Soulmates, comprised of Shreshtha Deotale and Aadhya Pravin Kumar, perform Bharatanatyam – Ganapathi Thalam, a rhythmically captivating dance highlighting Lord Ganesha as the master of time and rhythm.

Program Schedule – Conclusion

  1. Athma Ladies of Legacy — Divya Devassy, Anju Vasudevan, Jayasree Sreekumar, Syamily Rajan, Revathy Aravind, Bikku Fenil, Anjana S. Nair, and Neema Tresa John — present a vibrant Margamkali performance. Choreographed by Namitha Kannan of Mudhra Nirthalayam, this presentation is rooted in the rich cultural heritage of Kerala’s Christian traditions and symbolizes unity, spiritual harmony, and collective expression.
  2. Vote of thanks by Mayuri Ranadive.
  3. Finale performance by The Rhythmic Riders — Sourav Chakraborty and Amit Hunjan — with an exciting closing musical performance.
  4. Distribution of snacks as a parting gift.
